Filler bite was founded as the result of a mission to promote growth and wellbeing, having grown out of the blog “wohlgefühl”. Born out of Alexander’s personal story of surviving assault, the blog “wohlgefühl’ was created to help others in similar situations.
The blog raised awareness around mental health and eventually developed into a supportive community of survivors who shared their experiences and empowered one another. Inspired by this objective, the team behind Filler bite sought out functional foods which would be beneficial to health and offer more than just nutritional value.
They discovered many health products which were low-cost, but unfortunately contained unhealthy ingredients. These discoveries sparked the idea for Filler bite’s first product, peeep bite. The inspiration for this product emerged from Edward’s background; Swiss, with a South American heritage, Edward has always had a passion for quality chocolate. With this, Filler bite was born; a product which would provide a healthy and tasty alternative to unhealthy snacks.
